Q: What are the group sizes for Epic Empathy Games sessions? Our gaming groups typically consist of 4 to 6 participants, ensuring a personalised and engaging experience for every child.
-
Q: How does the enrollment process work?We begin with a free consultation with both the parent and young person to discuss interests, goals, and any specific needs. Afterward, participants are added to a waitlist until the group reaches capacity.
-
Q: How often do the roleplaying sessions take place?Once the waitlist is full (typically 4 to 6 young people), we start a weekly game session that lasts 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the age range. Each campaign runs for 10 to 12 weeks, allowing for consistency and progression while leaving space for school holidays.
-
Q: What games do you use in your sessions? We are flexible and have used many different roleplaying games, including Dungeons & Dragons, Tiny Dungeon, FATE: Accelerated, Hero Kids and more. Our groups have also enjoyed Artifact, Mice and Mystics, Munchkin and Dungeon Mayhem games.

Q: Are the sessions available online or locally? Our roleplaying game groups will usually be hosted online (GMT time zone). Please inquire for location details and availability for local games.

Q: How do you ensure a safe and inclusive environment for participants? The safety and well-being of our young players are our top priorities. Our sessions are facilitated by experienced mentors who create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Our leaders hold enhanced DBS certificates, and participate in regular safeguarding training. They have also been certified in using roleplaying games therapeutically. We have clear guidelines in place to promote respect, cooperation, and positive social interaction among all participants.
